Gheorghe Pogea is a former Vice Premier of Romania. He is currently in the news because he may be appointed City Manager to Bucharest. Pogea plans to contract loans for projects the City Hall has initiated such as the ring road, the underground passage to Otopeni and new subway lines and stations.
