Synopsis

Tom and Diana investigate Carl Morrissey, a 4400, who is using his ability of enhanced reflexes and strength to fight crime single-handedly.

Plot

Tom Baldwin and Diana Skouris investigate Carl Morrissey, a 4400 who had been missing for 18 months who is using his ability of enhanced reflexes and strength to fight crime single-handedly.

Richard and Lily look for a place to live and find their "perfect place"; their unborn daughter Isabelle, however, does not approve of it. Carl decides to use his abilities for the good of his neighbourhood and clean up the area. Tom Baldwin and his wife Linda meet at the hospital to learn more about their son Kyle’s condition. Tom questions his nephew Shawn on when he went to see Kyle. Maia Skouris is subjected to tests after sharing her thoughts with people on the future.

Lily begins to suffer pain when she approaches her oldest daughter Heidi's house and accidentally knocks over a plant pot, bringing awareness to her presence; she is then arrested for violating the restraining order placed against her stopping her from approaching her daughter.

Carl’s wife Grace (Kathleen Wilhoite) objects to his renegade mission, as she fears for his life and does not wish to lose him again. Carl is stabbed by a thug in the park. He does, however, succeed in his goal when the community begins to help clean things up.

Diana takes Maia home to look after her properly. Kyle’s life is at risk when he could suffer possible brain damage.
