San Floriano del Collio (Slovenian: "Števerjan") is a "comune" (municipality) in the Province of Gorizia in the Italian region Friuli-Venezia Giulia, located about 40 km northwest of Trieste and about 6 km northwest of Gorizia, on the border with Slovenia. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 807 and an area of 10.6 km².All demographics and other statistics: Italian statistical institute Istat.] It is inhabited mostly by Slovenians.
