CHVO-FM is an FM radio station in Carbonear, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada, broadcasting at 103.9 MHz. Owned by Newcap Broadcasting, it currently broadcasts a country music format as "KIXX Country 103.9".

CHVO first went on the air in 1980 as an AM affiliate of VOCM, although VOCM can be received in the Conception Bay North region without much difficulty, while the CHVO signal reaches parts of the St. John's area. Originally broadcasting at 850 kHz, it moved to 560 kHz in 1990, which was CHCM's old frequency.

In August 2006, Newcap [http://www.crtc.gc.ca/archive/ENG/Hearings/2006/n2006-9.htm#44 applied] to move CHVO to the FM band, at 103.9 MHz. The application stated CHVO would maintain its current country music format. On July 4, 2007, CHVO was given approval by the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) to move to FM. [http://www.crtc.gc.ca/archive/ENG/Decisions/2007/db2007-211.htm CRTC Decision 07/04/2007]

The relaunched CHVO is the first FM country music station serving the Avalon Peninsula since sister station CKIX-FM in St. John's flipped to contemporary hits in 2002. It no longer carries VOCM network programming. The station covers much of the St. John's metro area.

CHVO began test broadcasts on its new frequency, distinct from the broadcasts at 560 kHz, in late December 2007. The station's official launch was January 7, 2008. For up to six months thereafter, programming will be simulcast on both 103.9 FM and 560 AM.

Current programming includes a morning show hosted by Mickey T and Sherry Sheehan.
