William Taubman is an American
political scientist . Hisbiography ofNikita Khrushchev won thePulitzer Prize for biography in 2004 and theNational Book Critics Circle Award for Biography in 2003. He is a graduate of theBronx High School of Science and received a B.A. fromHarvard University in 1962; an M.A. fromColumbia University in 1965; a Certificate of the Russian Institute, 1965; and Ph.D., Columbia University, 1969.He is currently
