Bobby McDonald

Bobby McDonald was a Scottish Footballer who was born in Aberdeen who played in the left back position. He transferred to Manchester City F.C. from Coventry City F.C. in 1980. He played 96 times for the club, including matches in the FA Cup run of 1981 and scored 11 times before transferring to Oxford United in 1983 after being released by City for a breach of discipline.

He later joined Leeds United playing in their play-off games in 1987 against Charlton Athletic.

He then played non league football for a while, and when he returned from England set up his own footballing academies for 5-8 year old children.He currently coaches for a number of football clubs on a self employed basis.
