Casnigo is a "comune" (municipality) in the Province of Bergamo in the Italian region of Lombardy, located about 70 km northeast of Milan and about 20 km northeast of Bergamo. The municipality of Casnigo contains the "frazioni" (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Serio, Colle Bondo, Barbata, Grumello, and Case Sparse (partially; the other part lies in Colzate).

Casnigo borders the following municipalities: Gandino, Cazzano Sant'Andrea, Vertova, Colzate, Ponte Nossa, Cene, Gorno, Fiorano al Serio.
