NATO Science for Peace

The NATO Science Committee and the Committee on the Challenges of Modern Society (CCMS) were restructured in 2006 to create “Science for Peace and Security” (SPS). The programme resulted from the emergence of common priorities for the NATO Programme for Security through Science, the activities of the CCMS, and the need to follow the rapidly changing global security environment.
