Glenn Catley

Glenn Catley

Glenn Catley (born March 15, 1972 in Chipping Sodbury, England) is a professional boxer in the Super Middleweight (168lb) division. Known as "Catman", Catley turned pro in 1993 and challenged WBC Super Middleweight Title holder Richie Woodhall in 1998, but lost a majority decision. He got another shot at the WBC title against champ Markus Beyer and he won the belt via 12th round TKO. Catley lost the belt in his next fight, against Dingaan Thobela, via 12th round KO in a fight in which he was leading. In 2001, he got a chance to regain the Vacant WBC Super Middleweight Title against Eric Lucas, but he was KO'd in the 7th. Catley retired after a loss in 2003.
