Victor Kodelja

Victor Kodelja (born November 26, 1951) [http://www.canadasoccer.com/eng/nationals/profile.asp?playerid=986 Victor Kodelja's profile at CanadaSoccer.com] ] is a former member of the Canadian national soccer team and NASLer.

Kodelja played 8 seasons in the NASL - 1974 for the Vancouver Whitecaps in the team's inaugural season in the league; 1976 with the San Antonio Thunder; 1977 with Team Hawaii; 1978 with San Jose Earthquakes; 1981 with the Calgary Boomers; 1982 and '83 with the Toronto Blizzard; and 1984 with the Chicago Sting.

Kodelja played 10 times for Canada from 1974 through 1977. He scored once, in a 1974 friendly against Hungary in Budapest which ended 1-1.

Prior to playing professionally, Kodelja played in the Pacific Coast Soccer League, playing at least the 1969-70 season with Columbus F.C..
