Emran Mian (born 1977) is a British
Pakistan i author. He also publishes under the pseudonym Kamran Nazeer. Emran was born inGlasgow . He lived inNew York ,Jeddah andIslamabad before returning to Glasgow where he studied Law. Deciding not to become a lawyer, he then went toCorpus Christi College, Cambridge for his PhD and finally joined the Britishcivil service as a policy adviser inWhitehall .
