Unai Expósito Medina, Expósito (born January 23, 1980 in Barakaldo, Biscay), is a Spanish/Basque defender, currently playing for Hércules CF.

Club career

Expósito graduated from Lezama, Athletic Bilbao renowned youth academy, and debuted for the first team during 1999-2000, while also representing the B team. During 2003-05, after a loan period, he represented neighbours CA Osasuna.

In 2005, he returned to Athletic as a full first-team member but, after making just 3 appearances in 2007-08, joined second division side Hércules CF.

Personal

Expósito is the nephew of Iosu Expósito, ex-guitarist and singer of Spanish punk rock band Eskorbuto.
