Perceptric

A perceptric is an artisan skilled in the creation of perceptrons, a form of artificial neural network.

A perceptric is also one who creates social networks as enabled by new social media technologies and businesses. Social networks, such as those created by MySpace, LinkedIn, and others are now enabled to interact via technology in ways previously only possible when the participants of that network were located in geographic proximity.

Formation of linkages between participants in a social network are analogous to linkages in human neural networks. Exploiting the insight gained into how members of these networks interact with each other can lead to explosive growth in members of these new digitally connected networks.
