Sunbridge College, is an accredited college located in Chestnut Ridge, New York. Programs offered include:

Many programs, including the elementary and early childhood education courses, include either a certificate or a master's degree track. The master's programs offer an M.S. Ed. in either Early Childhood Teacher Education or Elementary Teacher Education. History

Sunbridge College was founded in 1967 as The Waldorf Institute in Detroit, Michigan. [Goldman, Caren. "Alternative teaching", "East West" April 1991: 68(3).] In 1986 The Waldorf Institute moved to Chestnut Ridge; it was chartered and accredited by the State of New York under the name Sunbridge College in 1991.

Location

The College is located in suburban New York State, about 40 minutes from New York City. It is part of the Threefold Educational Foundation, an umbrella organization also embracing Green Meadow Waldorf School, Eurythmy Spring Valley. and the Pfeiffer Center for biodynamic agriculture.
