The UK holding company, Dawnay Day International, is a financial/property services firm established in London in 1928. The UK firm floated its Indian subsidiary Dawnay Day AV Financial Services Private Limited (DDAVFSL) through a joint venture with Alok Vajpeyi, former President of DSP Merrill Lynch Asset Management. In 2005, DDAVFSL joined hands with Advanced Investment Mechanics Pvt Ltd, a Mumbai based investment research firm, to form DDAV Analytics Pvt Ltd.
