The First Immortal

"The First Immortal" is a fiction book written by James L. Halperin, about the first man re-animated after a cryonics procedure. Published by Del Rey books, copyright 1998. Futuristic account of the first immortal. Explores the future prospects of cryonics, A.I., nanotechnology, and eternal life. It is the sequel to Halperin's earlier book, The Truth Machine.
