In 2000 York was hired by
FSN Detroit to be areporter for their newDetroit Sports Report . He served in that role for 3 years until 2003 lead anchor Marc Soicher left forFSN Rocky Mountain to be the lead anchor on the Rocky Mountain Sports Report and York became the new anchor of the show.Before that he spent 4 years as sports anchor/reporter at
WEYI-TV (NBC 25), serving the Michigan cities ofFlint ,Saginaw andBay City . he was also formerly a reporter/producer onDetroit Pistons projects forPalace Sports and Entertainment .Roles
His special roles include being the lead anchor in the studio of during the
NBA Finals ,Stanley Cup Finals ,NCAA World Series , and Detroit's hosting of theRyder Cup ,MLB All-Star Game andSuper Bowl XL .He also has worked as a sideline reporter on
