Lu is a "comune" (municipality) in the Province of Alessandria in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 60 km east of Turin and about 14 km northwest of Alessandria. The municipality of Lu contains the "frazioni" (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Bodelacchi, Borghina, Castagna, Martini, and Trisogli.
