Viola is a "comune" (municipality) in the Province of Cuneo in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 90 km south of Turin and about 35 km southeast of Cuneo. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 470 and an area of 21.1 km².All demographics and other statistics: Italian statistical institute Istat.]

Viola borders the following municipalities: Bagnasco, Garessio, Lisio, Monasterolo Casotto, Pamparato, and Priola.
