Alto is a "comune" (municipality) in the Province of Cuneo in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 110 km south of Turin and about 45 km southeast of Cuneo. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 113 and an area of 7.6 km².All demographics and other statistics: Italian statistical institute Istat.]

Alto borders the following municipalities: Aquila di Arroscia, Caprauna, Nasino, and Ormea.
