- Hypermagnesaemia
Hypermagnesaemia occurs in patients with acute or chronic
renal failure givenantacids orlaxatives containingmagnesium . It can be induced byenemas containing magnesium .ymptoms
Symptoms and signs include
neurological andcardiovascular depression, weakness,respiratory paralysis and cardiac conduction defects.Treatment
Treatment requires the cessation of any
