Jim Rodwell (born 20 November 1970 in Lincoln, England) is the former chairman of Boston United and also a former professional footballer who played centre-half for the club.

Rodwell began his career playing junior football for Lincoln City and was offered apprentice forms prior to Lincoln being the first team relegated from the football league into the conference in 1987. With uncertainty surrounding the status of Lincoln's players, Rodwell instead undertook his apprenticeship with Darlington, making a solitary first team appearance. Released by Darlington, Rodwell returned to Lincolnshire and non-league Nettleham. He slowly moved up the non-league pyramid, joining the likes of Boston Town, Hednesford Town, Bedworth United, Nuneaton Borough and Halesowen Town. In August 1996, he became Haleowen's record sale when Rushden & Diamonds paid £40,000 for his services. An integral part in Rushden's rise up the pyramid into the football league, Rodwell struggled to maintain his place during Rushden's inaugural season and was loaned to Dagenham & Redbridge in January 2002 before moving to Boston United in February 2002, helping the Pilgrims into the football league. His third spell in the football league lasted just three games before he returned to the conference with first
Farnborough Town then Aldershot Town and finally Tamworth. In January 2004 he signed for Havant & Waterlooville before making a shock return to Boston United in February 2004 initially as Caretaker manager before taking up a role as Director of football, and eventually becoming chairman in June 2006. In July 2007, he was removed as chairman in the wake of the club being rescued from its financial mess by Chestnut Homes.

Jim also came third on ITV's Britain's Brainiest Footballer quiz.
