Quarona is a "comune" (municipality) in the Province of Vercelli in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 90 km northeast of Turin and about 50 km north of Vercelli, along Sesia River. The municipality of Quarona contains the "frazioni" (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Doccio and Valmaggiore.
