Muhammad-Jon Shakuri (in Persian: محمد جان شکوری)(Born 1925 in Bukhara), also known as Shukurov is a prominent Tajik intellectual and one of the notable Persian literary figures of 20th century.
Among his main works is a Tajiki Persian dictionary. He also had a significant role in preserving Tajik identity.
