Walking The Streets In The Rain was the Irish entry in the Eurovision Song Contest 1965, performed in English by Butch Moore. This was Ireland's debut Contest appearance.

The song is a ballad, with Moore singing about walking away from his former lover after she has ended their relationship. As he recounts his emotions at the event, he makes the comment that "nobody knows I am crying/'Cause I'm walking the streets in the rain".

On this first participation, the Irish broadcaster did not have Moore accompanied by its own conductor. Consequently, the host conductor, Italy's Gianni Ferrio, took care of the orchestra.

The song was performed fourth on the night (following Spain's Conchita Bautista with Qué Bueno, Qué Bueno and preceding Germany's Ulla Wiesner with Paradies, Wo Bist Du). At the close of voting, it had received 11 points, placing 6th in a field of 18.

It was succeeded as Irish representative at the 1966 Contest by Dickie Rock with Come Back to Stay.
