Aaron Torres (born
October 26 ,1978 ) is a professional boxer.Before he turned pro, Torres won the
1998 Golden Gloves in his weight class. Torres won the bronze medal at the 1999 Pan American Games. As a pro, he mainly boxed against weak opposition, not facing anyone with more wins than losses in his first 15 matches. When he finally "stepped up," facing the 17-4-1 Louis Santiago, he lost in the 9th of 12 rounds. He attempted a comeback on the reality show,Contender Season 2 , where he lost toGary Balletto Torres next went on to fight another Contender contestant in
Freddy Curiel . Torres took the fight with only five days notice, but still put up a strong performance. The fight seemed to go Torres's way until a point was deducted by the referee for holding which caused Torres to lose a match that was his.External links

May 12, 2007- Lancaster, PA, loss against Doel Carasquillo. Torres won the first round, and was showing a promising round two, but injured his right hand. He tried to use it in round three but could not and therefore had to forfeit the fight. His record is now 14-6-6 KO's.
