Adam Hecktman

Adam Hecktman (b. 1966 in Chicago, Illinois) is the Director for the Microsoft Technology Center [http://www.microsoft.com/mtc] in Chicago, and has been since its inception in September 2001. He has served on the Board of Directors for the Chicago Children's Museum [http://www.chichildrensmuseum.org] since 2003, and has been involved in an advisory capacity in a number of community organizations in and around Chicago for much of the last decade.

Prior to this position, Adam managed the Technology Specialist program for Microsoft’s largest sales district, the Midwest District. He has been with Microsoft since 1991.

Prior to Microsoft, Adam was a consultant with Andersen Consulting for three years. While at Andersen Consulting, Adam worked with clients including those in financial services, government, and utilities.

Adam received a Bachelor of Science in commerce and business administration from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He also holds a Master of Business Administration degree.
