July 19 ,1966 ) is an American casting director, singer anddance r.From 1990 - 2005, Langworth appeared in a number of major Broadway musicals, including the closing company of the original production of
A Chorus Line , theTony Award -winning production ofRagtime withAudra McDonald ,Marin Mazzie andBrian Stokes Mitchell , and the 2001 revival ofStephen Sondheim 'sFollies . He was also assistant dance captain of the national tour of the Tony Award-winning musicalThoroughly Modern Millie .He grew up in
Port Chester, NY and attended theState University of New York at Geneseo, where he studied communications.In 2006, Langworth retired from performing to join the New York-based casting agency, Bernard Telsey Casting, Inc. The Telsey agency has supplied casts for Broadway productions like Rent,
The Color Purple , Wicked,Legally Blonde andThe Drowsy Chaperone .
