Karl Reindler

Karl Reindler (born April 18, 1985) is a racing driver from Perth, Western Australia. He raced in the 2005 and 2006 British F3 International Series for established team Alan Docking Racing, and part of the 2006-07 A1 Grand Prix season for A1 Team Australia.

Reindler won the 2004 Australian Formula 3 championship, beating Chris Gilmour by only 3 points. [cite web |url=http://www.formula3.cc/content/view/82/41/ |title=2004 Formula 3 Australia Championship |date=2004-09-27 |work=www.formula3.cc |accessdate=2006-11-05]

Reindler moved to Britain in 2005 to complete a half-season running in British F3, before competing in a full season in 2006, finishing a disappointing 14th from 17 "Championship Class" runners.

He represented Australia in the final race as second driver in the 2005-06 A1 Grand Prix of Nations season, then second round of the 2006-07 A1 Grand Prix season in the Czech Republic, without scoring any points, but in the third round in Beijing, China, he ended up on the podium in the Feature Race, after staying on the circuit while others fell by the wayside. He contined on until the Durban event in South Africa then was dropped by the team. He joined the ranks of the Asian Formula Renault V6 series in 2007, but only ran one meeting.

2008 saw him join Matt Connolly Motorsports Pontiac GTO.R team for the Daytona 24 Hour. Karl qualified the car 30th and 5th in GT, but had drama's during the race and finished 45th and 27th in class. This was a warm-up event for his introduction into V8 Supercars with Howard Racing. He will do the full Fujitsu series in 2008, partnering Dean Canto.
