- Colin Culk
-
Colin Culk aka Colin Culky (Culkus) was a character in the UK magazine PC ZONE in the 1990s. He was the invention of PC Zone writer Duncan Mcdonald who had a quirky and irreverent column in the magazine & this is where the character was first introduced. Culk was played by BBC sound engineer Stewart Shape in the series of short films released on the magazine's CD-ROM edition.
Culky's exploits included spying on EA studios and attacking them with fireworks from his 'tank'. His catchphrases such as 'nice little earner' and deliberate suffixing of "isn't it" to most sentences enhanced his comedy factor and gained him a cult following.
