Mackay Memorial Hospital (zh-t|t=馬偕紀念醫院), established on December 26, 1912, is a private Christian hospital located in down-town Taipei. The hospital is mostly associated with the Revd Dr George Leslie Mackay DD, the first modern missionary to northern Taiwan. The hospital is deeply rooted in the Presbyterian cause and is under the spiritual guidance of the Presbyterian Church in Taiwan. Currently, the hospital administration is preparing for the launch of the new Mackay Memorial Medical College.

The original "Mackay Hospital" had been built by Dr. George Mackay in Tamsui in 1880, in memory of a certain Captain MacKay, whose widow donated the funds (Geo. L. Mackay, "From Far Formosa", p. 316). [http://www.mmh.org.tw/intro/intro3.asp] In recent years, Mackay has been promoted and celebrated as part of the rise of Taiwanese nativism and the associated state and civil projects of emphasizing a Taiwanese identity and Taiwan-centred histories.

MacKay Hospital was reopened in 1905, and in 1912 it was relocated from Tamsui to Taipei and renamed "Mackay Memorial Hospital". [http://www.mmh.org.tw/intro/intro3-1.asp] The hospital logo, however, still bears the date of the original foundation, 1880.
