53rd Kentucky Infantry Regiment

53rd Kentucky Infantry Regiment was a Union Army Regiment organized in Covington, Kentucky in September, 1864, during the American Civil War. The regiment experienced casualties of one Officer and eight Enlisted men during its service. It also lost 40 Enlisted men by disease, a total of 49 men. It was mustered out September 17 1865.
