Rhino 39

Rhino 39

Rhino 39 was among the wave of punk bands originating in Los Angeles, California, in the late 1970s. The band was notable for recording an early hardcore punk single: (Xerox/No Compromise) on the notorious Dangerhouse label. The death of singer Dave Bratton in an auto accident in 1979 sent the group into hiatus for several years, after which they emerged with Joel Bratton, younger brother of the original singer, taking the role of vocalist. The band disbanded in the mid 1980s.
