Cossor Ali (born 14 December 1982) is one of the suspects arrested in the UK in connection to the 2006 transatlantic aircraft terrorist plot in the United Kingdom, and one of the nineteen whose accounts were frozen by the Bank of England.[1]

Charges
On diverse days between the 1 January 2005 and 10 August 2006 within the jurisdiction of the Central Criminal Court had information which she knew or believed might be of material assistance in preventing the commission of another person namely, Ahmed Abdullah Ali AKA Abdullah Ali Ahmed Khan, of an act of terrorism and failed to disclose it as soon as reasonably practicable (contrary to Section 38B (1) (a) and (2) of the Terrorism Act 2000).
Background
Cossor Ali grew up in Walthamstow and lived with her parents before marrying Abdula Ahmed Ali in 2003. She has a baby son named Zain. Her maiden name is Anwar.[2]

21 August 2006 Appearance at City of Westminster Magistrates’ Court. Charged with failing to disclose information in relation to the alleged plot.
5 September 2006 Appearance at City of Westminster Magistrates’ Court. No application for bail is made.
19 September 2006 Scheduled court appearance. Trial ends as a mistrial.
5 March 2009 Found 'not guilty' by jury at Inner London Crown Court.[3]
