A Roller Skating Jam Named "Saturdays" is the first single from De La Soul's second album, "De La Soul Is Dead". The song was very well received and raised expectations for the album. Featuring rapper Q-Tip and vocalist Vinia Mojica, "Saturdays" was another collaboration from the Native Tongues Posse; it would however be among the last to appear on a De La Soul album. The song also features Def Jam co-founder Russell Simmons - in a non-musical capacity - as a DJ from "De La Soul Is Dead"s fictional radio station WRMS.
