Alvin Brian "Ab" McDonald (born
February 18 1936 ,Winnipeg ,Manitoba ) is a retired Canadianice hockey forward.McDonald began his
National Hockey League career with theMontreal Canadiens in 1958 and retired in 1972. He also played for the Chicago Black Hawks,Detroit Red Wings ,Boston Bruins ,Pittsburgh Penguins , and the St. Louis Blues. During his career, McDonald won threeStanley Cup s with Montreal and another with Chicago. He was the first team captain of the Winnipeg Jets and he also scored the first goal ever for the team in the World Hockey Association.Awards & Achievements
