Lü Jie

Lü Jie (吕洁 Hanyu Pinyin: "Lǚ Jié", English name Amy Lu) is a new and rising star of the Cantonese-speaking entertainment world of Mainland China and Hong Kong.

Starting as an advertisement and TV commercial model in 1998, she moved into sitcoms and TV drama in early 2002 starring in TV drama series 网络情人 [http://www.cn5c.com/y/jm/ys/zz/zz01/yzpjmyszz001.htm] , 柴米新人类 [http://news.xinhuanet.com/ent/2002-02/06/content_270225.htm]

She played important parts in two Hong Kong box office films 《伙頭智多星》功夫足球, 心痒痒 and 伪钞的末日 and starring famous actors Lau Ching Wan (刘青云) and Jeng Jak Si (郑则士) and was widely acclaimed.

Lü Jie graduated from the elite Zhixin High School in Guangzhou, China and the Guangzhou Institute of Foreign Languages with a degree in French.

She perhaps has the most seniority in China's commercial modeling profession.
