The hills in the range vary from 50 feet above sea level to 300 feet above sea level. Most of the hills' easist access is paved road or a short trail hike no more than 5 miles.

Florida 's flat land, and low elevation, these hills give way to one of only two sub-piedmont areas inFlorida .
