piano rock band Keane after the release of their debut album "Hopes and Fears"History
Following a series of successful live performances since 1998 and one day after the release of "Hopes and Fears", Keane started a promotional tour for the album, debuting at the Forum in
London onMay 11 2004 .The tour started to become more serious, with hundreds of people attending the gigs.Soon, they went off to North America, visiting for the first timeCanada andMexico , where they had gradually became popular. The tour continued throughout 2004 playing several times in theUnited States and Europe. In October and soon after, Rice-Oxley composed, "Nothing in My Way " (also called "Nothing in Your Way") and "Hamburg Song", both of which were included in the set list, leading Chaplin to play theHammond organ for both songs. The idea of filming a documentary appeared in 2005 and Ed Roe, an early fan of Keane, was in charge, so they decided to film during the summer of that year, when Keane were touring the USA. They continued playing during August and September in the USA (returning once to Mexico) to finally close the tour with the opening acts forU2 'sVertigo Tour during October. The "Strangers" DVD containing the documentary was released onNovember 15 2005.et lists
