Ayama (阿山郡; -gun) was a district located in Mie, Japan.

As of 2003, the district had an estimated population of 27,539 and a density of 108.46 persons per km². The total area was 253.91 km².

Towns and villages

* November 1, 2004-The district merged with the city of Ueno and Naga District to form the new city of Iga and the district was abolished.There were four municipalities within the district.
