Irma Blanco

Irma Blanco Is an American radio personality from Los Angeles, California. Born and raised of Cuban heritage in Monterey Park, California, she has worked all over the United States, including Miami, Riverside, California, San Francisco and Chicago.

Formerly of WRCX-FM 103.5 she was the "voice of reason" for the nationally syndicated morning radio talk show, "Mancow's Morning Madhouse" in Chicago, hosted by Erich "Mancow" Muller. Blanco was with Mancow from 1994, when she show began in Chicago until July 1998 when she left the station. The station, the parent company, and both Mancow and Irma were being sued by Keith Van Horne, a former NBA player, but the lawsuit was settled before she decided to leave the Chicgo. She returned to Los Angeles on the completion of her contract.

Blanco currently works at KBIG-FM 104.3 MYfm in Los Angeles as the co-host with news and entertainment on the KBIG morning show, "Valentine in the Morning", on weekday mornings 5-9am Pacific time. Blanco prevously co-hosted the morning show with the legendary Charlie Tuna.

She is married to Peter Romano and has one daughter, Sophia Lou.

Correction: Keith Van Horne is a former NFL offensive lineman with the Chicago Bears, a stalwart of many seasons, including the 1985 Super Bowl Champion Chicago Bears. He also worked as a color-analyst for Bears broadcasts on radio.
