Source Technologies was founded in 1986 by Miles Busby in
Charlotte, North Carolina . In the early 1990s, Source Technologies formed an alliance withLexmark to provide secureMICR (Magnetic Ink Character Recognition) printers. In 1997Lexmark took on Source Technologies as its exclusiveMICR provider which led to another exclusiveMICR agreement withIBM .In 1998 Source Technologies developed its first transactional
