Susan Alexis Collins

Collins is a Senior Lecturer, Head of Electronic Media, and Head of Undergraduate Fine Art Media, for the Slade School of Art, University College London. Collins' work has been to explore artistic issues of reality and artificial or virtual realms. Collins' work is displayed in public, gallery and online spaces. She was nominated for a 2004 Bafta award for the Tate Gallery net art commission 'Tate in Space'.

Collins' early computer animation works have been screened nationally and internationally, at venues including: the London International Film Festivals; the Museum of Modern Art, Rio de Janeiro; Siggraph Las Vegas and Chicago; The Institute of Contemporary Art, London; JAGDA, Tokyo; and the Berlin VideoFest.Fact|date=February 2007

Recently completed commissions include a wildlife surveillance system for Sarah Wigglesworth Architects's RIBA award winning Classroom of the Future and Underglow, and network of illuminated drains for the City of London Corporation.
