Overview

The band toured with A Perfect Circle during the year 2000 [ [http://www.wholenote.com/default.asp?iTarget=http%3A//www.wholenote.com/news/item.asp%3Fi%3D290 WholeNote - The On-Line Guitar Community - with guitar lessons OLGA guitar tab music chords scales and other goodies ] ] , as well as The Smashing Pumpkins on their final European tour [ [http://www.nme.com/reviews/sunna/3455 Sunna - Paris Bercy Palais Omnisports - Live Reviews - NME.COM ] ] . They released their only album to date, "One Minute Science" on Massive Attack's Melankolic label, that year, with the singles "OD" and "Power Struggle". The latter single appeared in the movie Hollow Man, to which Kevin Bacon can be seen singing along to.The third single from "One Minute Science", "I'm Not Trading" was released in early 2001.

Richie Mills, their drummer, left the band in spring of 2001, and would have been replaced by Mark Richardson, of Skunk Anansie, but he joined Feeder instead following the death of that band's drummer Jon Lee. It is thought that the band began recording a second album but no news of its release appears to have surfaced so it can be assumed that Sunna quietly disbanded, something suggested also by their [http://www.sunna.co.uk/ official website] being defunct.

It was imparted to fans that several tracks from a second album had been rehearsed and played live at London's Water Rats bar but never made a release.

Possible Return, Two Minute Terror

It was recently rumourd online, from someone going by the username of "Jon H"; that Sunna will soon return, with their second Album being named "Two Minute Terror". [http://www.ilike.com/artist/Sunna] This album will be released with new website for download. Their has been no talk of the band reforming, so this album will not be toured... but "TWO MINUTE TERROR" is coming!!
