- Inokashira-kōen Station
nihongo|Inokashira-kōen Station|井の頭公園駅|Inokashira-kōen eki is one stop from
Kichijōji on theKeiō Inokashira Line to Shibuya. The station is a local train stop, but express trains tend to halt during the spring blossom viewing festival. It gives quick access to
Inokashira Park , the source of the Kanda River (神田川) and is a favorite spot for springtimehanami , or cherry-blossom viewing. It's a quiet residential area with only a handful of shops and restaurants, but Kichijōji is only a 10 minute walk (600m).
The green open space behind Inokashira-koen Station and along Kanda river is often overlooked. Outdoor activities seem more appropriate there than in the artistic and crowded Inokashira Park.
