The Independence Center is a 1,032,000 sf super-regional shopping mall located in Independence, Missouri. The mall opened in 1974, and underwent a renovation in 2004. It is currently owned by Simon Property Group. There are two floors of retail space, with a third, lower, floor in the center of the mall housing the food court, carousel and children's entertainment area.

Independence Center is the third-largest mall in the KC Metro Area behind Oak Park Mall and Metro North Mall.
