Ján Popluhár (born
12 August ,1935 ,Bernolákovo ) is a former Slovak football player. He played for Czechoslovakia, for which he played 62 matches and scored one goal. He was a participant at the1958 FIFA World Cup and at the1962 FIFA World Cup , where Czechoslovakia won the silver medal.In 1997, Popluhár was awarded with the World Fair Play award.
