- Roger Mason
Roger Le Roy Mason (born
September 18 ,1958 inBellaire ,Michigan ) is an American former professionalbaseball player who pitched in the Major Leagues primarily in relief from 1984–1987, 1989, and 1991–1994. He lives in his home town of Bellaire, Michigan and is married to his high school sweetheart. Roger will be remembered in the Major Leagues as one who excelled in the post season were his microscopic ERA of 0.49 over frac|18|1|3 innings is still among the best for relievers. He had arm problems after the 1994 season and was not able to come back from surgery. He owned a pizza parlor named "Big League Pizza" that had an award winning deep dish pizza pie. He is a religious man who has taken this season of his life to start the Northern Michigan House of Prayer and leads a Bible study at the retirement village were he was born. Roger has two Children, Jeff Mason (graduate of Liberty University) and Amy Mason (Currently attending Liberty University).Teams
