WHO Radio Wise Guys

WHO Radio Wise Guys

The WHO Radio Wise Guys airs on the midwest's legendary fifty-thousand-watt WHO (AM) Saturdays from 12:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. (CT) on Saturdays. The hosts are Dan Adams, Ross Peterson, and Brian Gongol. The show is streamed online at WHO's website [http://www.whoradio.com/] . The show, which first aired in 1999, focuses on computers and technology news. The hosts publish a weekly e-mail newsletter containing information on technology and personal computer security. They also offer a podcast [http://www.whoradio.com/cc-common/podcast/single_podcast.html?podcast=wiseguys.xml] .

The show is sometimes preempted by broadcasts of Iowa Hawkeye football and basketball broadcasts.

History

Created by Jeff Hansen and Danny Bishop, Radio Wise Guys' original name was "Dot Com", but was changed in 2000 in order to involve a wider subject matter, and thus attract a broader audience. Past Wise Guys (co-hosts) include George Davison, Kevin Wichtendahl and Corey Allen.
