Haret Hreik ( _ar. حارة حريك), or "Harat Hurayk", is a mixed
Shi'ite andMaronite Christian town, part of theDahieh suburbs of southernBeirut ,Lebanon . Located northwest of theRafik Hariri International Airport , it was primarily a residential area and the headquarters of theShi'ite groupHezbollah . Israeli warplanes destroyed the headquarters and civilian homes on July 2006. ..
